LogiMaster, Supply Chain Integrated Management Master of Economy Faculty - University of Verona (Italy), has the aim to prepare Logistics Managers and Supply Chain Managers with state-of-the-art knowledge sharing on: logistics management practices, local logistics systems, case studies of several enterprises in different market sectors and up-to-date information about key software solutions.
LogiMaster is, at the same time, an advanced executive training course and an “open network system” with knowledge and information exchange at national and international level. Furthermore, as LogiMaster has been built in the University environment, it is also a Center of Excellence for Logistics and Supply Chain Management.

 


Maintenance of industrial assets is widely recognized as a key element to keep and improve the value and competitiveness of an enterprise. To this regard, the goal of the Master is to deliver competences and know-how in the field of maintenance management of industrial plants. Objective of the Master (University of the Study's Bergamo) is to form maintenance managers that, besides having proper technical competences, would be capable to manage the maintenance processes in view of their organizational and management goals and constraints. To do so, governance of the role of maintenance on the organization, on the business objectives and on the continuous improvement processes is taken into account. The educational route of the Course can be divided in three main streams: 1) Basic Education - 2) Management Education - 3) Elective Education.

 


DIASS – “Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Ambiente e per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile” (Department of Environmental Engineering and Sustainable Development) is based in Taranto (Southern Italy) and is part of “Politecnico di Bari” (Technical University of Bari). Politecnico di Bari was founded in 1990 as a spin-off of the University of Bari, with the main goal of strengthening the relationships with the local economy, based on the competencies in Engineering and Architecture. In particular, the Engineering Faculty was at that time almost 50 years old and characterized by a strong tradition in research at both the national and international level. DIASS was founded on January 1, 2004. The research personnel with tenure amounts to 33. On average about further 30 persons work at the department, recruited to work within specific research projects (among them, also 10 PhD students). The average scientific production of DIASS research personnel is 5.25 papers/year, 2.58 of which published on scientific journals (last update January 2008). In these five first years, DIASS has progressively increased its fund raising ability, achieving more than 2 mln€ in 2008, in particular coming from research projects funded at national as well as international (mostly European) level. Among the research fields in which the DIASS is involved: Environmental Engineering, Industrial and Management Engineering, Information Technology Engineering and has active collaborations with many public and private companies as well as national and international research centres in EU/USA.


Sustainability & Management Lab is a research center of the Department of Business and Social studies of University of Siena. It is a scholars and practitioners’ international network for research in sustainability and corporate social responsibility, with particular reference to strategic planning and monitoring systems, performance measurement systems and reporting on social and environmental issues. In order to achieve these aims, the S&M Lab relies upon research and empirical studies, case studies and international comparisons, using a multidisciplinary perspective.

CSR MANAGER NETWORK ITALIA - Developing the CSR Manager Network in Europe The purpose is to meet the Italian CSR manager’s need to promote the policies and practices of CSR as an element of strategy in his or her firm. The network offers to CSR managers the opportunity to:
- critically compare their CSR experiences;
- identify the CSR enhancement opportunities for their company;
- meet the protagonists of European best practices;
- dialogue with the international and national stakeholders associations;
- create an institutional representative association of CSR managers.
The methodology consists in support the knowledge sharing and the cross fertilization among Italian CSR Managers. It is an initiative supported by ALTIS and ISVI (University of the Sacred Heart of Milan).
